A Bit About Me
I’m a programmer and former circus artist, raised in Minnesota and currently living in Austin, Texas.
My main interest growing up, besides various kinds of games, was math. I went to Oberlin College and earned a degree in mathematics in 2009. I then took a sharp turn into circus arts and spent the next decade or so training, teaching recreational students, and performing professionally. My wife and I created a Chinese pole act which we toured with nationally, as well as some special performances in Mexico and Canada.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided it was time for a change and got serious about learning to program and looking for my first job in software. Since mid-2022 I’ve been a software engineer at Enduring Games. I’m excited to continue finding new technical and creative challenges and see where this new career takes me.
